Timberline Ski Trip

John and I had a great trip to Timberline Ski Resort on January 20th. This was John's first time skiing, and he got the hang of it pretty quick.

Only downside was that it was extremely cold. John went down Woods Hole a few times, so we decided to head to Salamander...........................not the greatest idea. Just a touch too difficult. The lodge was a welcome site after struggling down this arctic 2 mile run.

Overall, we have some great memories and hope to go back again before the end of the season, but we'll look for slightly warmer temperatures next time.

Hey Matt...it's your cousin Emily. I saw where you were planning on taking another canoe trip. It's strange, but I think Tim is going to be in Petersburg around the first week of July for a wedding. If he was there around the time when you were thinking about doing the trip...would that be something he could get in on? He would absolutely love it. I believe you two have met at least once..he says he does remember you. Just let me know. By the way, congratulations on your third! Boy...we are way behind!

Hi Emily,

Believe it or not, I just saw your comment this evening......(yeah, Sunday, Feb 25th). Sorry. I can't believe I missed it. The canoe trip that we are doing for the Department will probably be the first or second weekend in June. But don't let that stop him, I can go canoing any time. Just let me know when he wants to go. Talk to you later, Matt
